Technical data
Frequently asked questions
The compaction factor is 1.20-1.23. Once compacted, the dry volume weight is 2.2-2.8 kN/m³ and the density 220-280 kg/m³.
Volume weight depends on the moisture conditions of the structure: 3.5 kN/m³ in a structure with functional drainage, 6 kN/m³ intermittently underwater (up to one month) and 10 kN/m³ underwater long term. For uplift design the value 3.0 kN/m³ is used.
As loose aggregate by truck, typically 114-150 m³ per load, and in 1 m³ big bags.
