Sustainability Report 2025
Foamit has published its first sustainability report following the VSME standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs). The report brings together the group’s key themes related to the environment, social responsibility and good governance, and describes how sustainability guides the development of our business.
In our 2025 report you will find, among other things, these concrete actions:
- We recycle and process glass waste into raw material for the glass industry
- We utilise all glass fractions that we collect
- We manufacture products that are long-lasting and reusable
- We continuously develop our production to be more resource-efficient
Certifications and EPDs
Verified by a third party: transparency in everything we do.
Below are the answers we are asked for most often. Every document can be downloaded from our documentation library.
We have produced Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for all of our products. They are based on a full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), verified by a third party, and available for download in our documentation library.
Our management system is certified according to:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- ISO 50001 Energy Management System
In addition we hold an EcoVadis Silver rating with a score of 77/100.
In 2025 we conducted an updated Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) to align our sustainability work with evolving regulatory requirements and business priorities. The DMA strengthened our understanding of where our recycled glass business model creates the most value, and where focused action is required to manage risks, support innovation and reduce negative impacts. More than 80 participants ensured that our sustainability priorities are grounded not only in internal assessments, but also in shared expectations across our value chain.
The results of the DMA form the foundation of Foamit’s sustainability work going forward. They guide our actions across strategic direction, internal development and stakeholder collaboration. The findings support the prioritisation of projects, investments and development initiatives. Clear and evidence-based materiality topics strengthen our communication and engagement with stakeholders, ensuring that strategic decisions, practical actions and expectations are aligned around shared priorities.
As Foamit grows, sustainable development remains an essential part of risk management, operational development and long-term value creation. Going forward, we will focus on strengthening our management practices, improving the quality and transparency of reporting, and advancing continuous development, particularly in environmental matters. Risk management practices will continue to be enhanced to ensure the company’s adaptability and responsible decision-making as the business evolves.
We are committed to maintaining high-quality reporting and improving the coverage, quality and reliability of our sustainability data. Continuous improvement remains a core principle of our operations. This includes increasing energy efficiency in production, reducing logistics-related emissions, and using our current achievements as a foundation for further progress. Foamit’s sustainability work is a continuous journey.
EPDs, certificates, CE documents, declarations of performance, safety data sheets and design and installation instructions are all collected on the Documentation page. If what you need is not there, we will help you obtain it.
